Pidurutalagala is the tallest peak of Sri Lanka. The Pidurutalagala height is 2,524 m. It is easily distinguishable from almost all the areas in Central Province. The Government of Sri Lanka and armed forces have built their communications array on the top of the peak. The communications array contributes to the functioning of Sri Lanka’s radar system.
